Terms & Conditions

Traveling can be a fickle beast and we endeavor to make it as smooth as possible, however there are things outside of our control. Our Action Tours and Personalized Vacations are designed to be as stress free for you as possible but there is always a chance that delays or cancellations will impact your trip. The world has changed due to COVID-19 and we all have to work together to make the best of difficult situations should they arrive. By submitting a deposit to join an SPD Action Tour or Personalized Vacation, you are agreeing to abide by all conditions set forth in our Terms & Conditions.

Booking

To secure your place on one of our Action Tours or confirm your Personalized Vacation, payment must be submitted based on the following pay schedule:

More than 60 days to departure: 50% deposit due (remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure)

Less than 60 days prior to departure: 100% balance due

Cancellations of bookings must be reported to us via email (kris@spdactiontravel.com) as soon as possible and your cancellation will only be considered valid upon receipt of your notification. Cancellation penalties are as follows:

Cancellation more than 90 days prior to departure: $200

Cancellation 60-90 days prior to departure: 25% of total trip cost*

Cancellation 30-59 days prior to departure: 50% of total trip cost*

Cancellation less than 30 days prior to departure: 100% of total trip cost*

*These penalties may differ slightly based on circumstances. We will work with you to exhaust all possible options to minimize the financial impact of a cancellation for SPD Action Travel as well as for you.

NOTE: Failure to submit full payment prior to the date payment in full is required will result in your trip being considered as cancelled.

Cancellations

We strongly recommend acquiring travel insurance for your trip as this can be beneficial in multiple scenarios. The primary reason for travel insurance is to make sure you have medical coverage in the event of an injury or medical emergency. Contact your medical insurance provider to discuss your medical insurance coverages and work with them to find travel insurance that makes sense for you.

Travel Insurance

Prior to taking part in the trip, you will be required to sign a liability waiver which will be provided to you prior to departure.
